The Crow
You walk down the street,
And see a dead crow.
You ponder how it died.
Maybe it starved to death,
Or maybe suicide
Maybe it got hit by a car?
Or maybe was it poached?
You remember that crows symbolize
many different things.
In Rome and Greece.
You ponder what it might mean to you
It could mean good luck,
Maybe bad luck?
It could mean wealth and prosperity,
Maybe death?
How could the crow die?
Being so very intelligent,
One could only ponder,
how the crow died.
But in the end,
The crow,
was only sleeping.

The Summit
1,210 feet off the ground,
I see Manhattan from the clouds.
Like a Eagle flying in the sky,
I see the city from a bird’s eye.
Looking at the city in awe,
I’ve reached the summit,
Where Heaven and Earth collide.

The Game of Life
It teaches you to think ahead,
It teaches you to anticipate everything.
You learn how to strategize,
You understand that not everything is equal.
Different pieces have different positions of status,
Not everything is fair.
Every piece can move to different positions,
Each with different limitations.
Every decision you make has an impact on the rest of the game.
One bad move,
And the rest of the game is ruined,
Or very hard to recover from.
You will feel regret,
You will feel despair;
But you can not give up,
Because the game is not over.
That game is life,
And chess is the game of life.
