Arthur Leigh Allen is one of the most compelling suspects (and who I believe to truly be the Zodiac) in the Zodiac Killer case, due to a combination of circumstantial evidence and unsettling personal details that align with the killer’s profile. Allen had a troubled background, with a history of violence and disturbing behavior that matched certain characteristics attributed to the Zodiac. Investigators were particularly interested in him after a friend reported that Allen had spoken about wanting to “hunt people,” a chilling remark that closely parallels the Zodiac’s own twisted thrill-seeking motives. Additionally, Allen owned a Zodiac-brand watch with the same cross-circle symbol found in the killer’s letters, and he matched witness descriptions of the Zodiac. Despite all this, Allen was never convicted as being the Zodiac.

In the following blog posts, I will go through all the evidence that has been gathered as well as some personal evidence that overall leads me to believe that Arthur Leigh Allen was the Zodiac.
